These terms cover browsing this site, run by North Oasis Works out of Kitakyushu. Reading past this page means you accept them — we have kept them short rather than padding them out.
Copyright
The garden photography, plans and write-ups published here are our own work, gathered from projects Laura has designed and built. Read and link to them freely; lifting them for a competing brochure or another business's marketing is not permitted without asking first.
What may change
Planting lists, seasonal timings and example costs on this site are a general guide and get updated as projects change. What actually gets planted, and what it costs, is confirmed against your specific plot after a site visit — the site is a starting point, not a quote.
Individual arrangements
Every garden is different, so the scope of design work, the build timeline and the price are agreed individually in writing before anything is dug. Nothing published on this site amounts to a binding offer on its own — it is background reading before that conversation.
Limits of responsibility
We stand behind what is written here to the extent the law requires of us, and no further. We are not responsible for outside sites we link to, or for a planting or hardscaping decision made purely from a photo on this site without a proper site assessment first.
Updates
These terms get revised now and again as the business changes — the version live on this page is always the current one. Anything material will be visible here, not buried in a changelog.
Jurisdiction
Japanese law, applying where North Oasis Works is established in Kitakyushu, governs these terms and any dispute over the use of this site.
